| BBN transnational workshop "Bioenergy in the Baltic Sea Region: Economic Feasibility, Conflicts and Chances" within the Rural Development Conference at the Lithuanian University of Agriculture, 9 November 2007 in Kaunas |
 |
This BBN transnational workshop will provide a good overview over the most relevant bioenergy production lines in the BSR region. Issues such as biomass ressources, economic viability and spatial planning of bioenergy will be discussed during the two BBN sessions. Furthermore the results of a related INTERREG project "ET-Bioenergy" will be presented by an expert speaker discussing new bioenergy business concepts during emission trading in the BSR. Further guest presentations such as about solar energy will add up to the bioenergy focussed workshop.
Chairpersons: Alice Gora, CCI Potsdam and Gintautas Mozgeris, Lithuanian University of Agriculture
Schedule:
